Service Technician

Objective: A motivated self-driven individual who will be responsible for all technical service related inquiries. This position will report directly to the Application Engineering Manager. Service technician will also collaborate with others within the company to successfully complete given tasks. Responsibilities: Responsible for supporting and completing in-house and field service issues Responsible for working directly/indirectly with OEM customers and additional accounts when required to successfully repair units in the field Responsible for coordinating with authorized service groups to evaluate technical issues in the field Responsible for sending parts to authorized service groups to repair units in the field Responsible for creating service reports on all service issues (In-house and in field) Responsible for working with factory to send information relating to service issues so that factory can respond with procedures to repair the unit. Responsible for procuring spare parts to ensure we can meet repairs when required Collaborate with Application Engineering Manager to ensure all startup processes and technical information is correct in Owners Manual and Service Manuals. Work with Inside Sales Coordinator to ensure all incoming invoices (for service) are correct before 360PQ pays. Maintain service files for all startup reports Maintain service files for all startup invoices Any and all other requirements that may surface Requirements/Skills: Technical degree (2 year degree) Minimum 2 years service experience supporting customers via telephone and/or onsite for service related purposes Ability to travel (50%) if required to assist authorized service personnel and to handle/support startups Knowledge of Excel, Word and Power-point #J-18808-Ljbffr 360 Power Quality, LLC
