Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our hospital facility in the charming city of Los Gatos, known for its stunning landscape and vibrant community. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in the execution of tailored treatment plans based on patient evaluations and progress assessments.
• Guide patients through their prescribed therapeutic exercises, emphasizing proper technique and safety.
• Implement various treatment modalities, including ultrasound and electrical stimulation, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions and document their progress in compliance with organizational standards.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation exercises, pain management, and lifestyle modifications to promote recovery.
• Ensure all documentation meets HIPAA regulations, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy regarding patient records.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to provide input on patient care and contribute to comprehensive treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse group of patients, including athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, individuals undergoing rehabilitation after surgery, and those suffering from chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

Compensation and Benefits
