Department Assistant — Noninvasive Cardiology

FULL-TIME / BENEFIT ELIGIBLE - MUNSTER LOCATION

Position Purpose And Summary

Under the general direction of the Director/Manager, the Department Assistant performs clerical duties relating to in-patient and outpatient paper flow, filing, scheduling examinations, answers multi-line phones, and releasing reports. Helps maintain the steady workflow of the studies performed in the department.

Education/Experience:

High school graduate or equivalent.
Typing, computer technology, medical terminology are preferred.
Minimum of 1 year secretary, medical assistant, nurse assistant, or physician office/clinical/hospital preferred.
