CNC Operator in Mesa, AZ — $21.00–$27.00/hr DOE, 3rd shift (weekend days), contract-to-hire. Operate CNC equipment and check precision aerospace components against the print.

Pay: $21.00–$27.00/hr DOE

Shift: 3rd shift, Friday–Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

Location: Mesa, AZ 85205 (on-site)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Follow the print, check the dimensions, and keep precision production moving.

Operate CNC equipment used to make aerospace fasteners and components. Read blueprints, use measuring tools to check parts, and record production and quality information with support from the shop team.

This weekend day schedule runs Friday–Sunday, with 12½ hours between start and finish each day. Expect repetitive production work, regular part checks, and time around operating machinery throughout the shift.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Operate CNC production equipment according to work instructions

- Read blueprints and follow part specifications

- Check dimensions using measuring tools

- Monitor machining cycles and identify quality concerns

- Notify the lead when tooling, equipment, or dimensions need attention

- Record production quantities and inspection results

- Follow machine guarding and safe equipment procedures

WHAT YOU NEED

- At least 1 year of CNC operating experience

- Knowledge of measuring tools

- Familiarity with reading blueprints

NICE TO HAVE

- Aerospace or blind-fastener manufacturing experience

- High-volume precision machining experience

- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience

- CNC setup, tooling adjustments, SPC, or ERP/MRP experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Prepare tooling and fixtures, make machine adjustments, and handle precision measuring equipment and components. Review specific lifting and standing demands with your recruiter.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Machine-shop floor with CNC machinery, moving equipment, cutting oils and metalworking fluids, noise, and airborne particles. PPE is required and provided, and all plant safety procedures apply.
