Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT/Clinical Lab Scientist) with strong blood bank experience to perform laboratory testing, specimen processing, and quality assurance in a clinical setting. The candidate will support laboratory operations and ensure accurate and timely test results.

Responsibilities:

Perform blood bank, microbiology, hematology, chemistry, and other clinical laboratory tests with precision.
Collect, process, and receive various specimens, including blood, urine, fecal, and body fluids.
Evaluate and troubleshoot issues related to specimen collection and processing, ensuring reliability across all age groups.
Analyze quality control data, interpret results, and implement corrective actions to maintain accuracy.
Review instrument indicators, temperature monitors, and ensure compliance with laboratory protocols.
Maintain current knowledge of laboratory procedures, participate in evaluating new techniques, and update technical documentation.

Qualifications:

Hold a Bachelor's degree or Associate's Degree for grandfathered personnel.
Possess CLS or MT (ASCP) certification or equivalent credential.
Demonstrate strong blood bank experience and proficiency in clinical laboratory procedures.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Maintain self-competency in laboratory skills and ongoing professional development.
