Immediate need for a Business Associate for a position in the Banking & Financial Industry. This is a 6+ month's contract opportunity with long-term potential located in McLean, VA. Please review the job description below:

Key Responsibilities:

• The position will be responsible to ensure that the objectives of the Engineering Aligned resources within Application Services team are met.
• Ensure consistent delivery and adoption of core Infrastructure capabilities while simultaneously enhancing the overall productivity.
• Examples of core capabilities include, but not limited to Information Security initiatives, VDI, Mobility, Automation and Collaboration tools.
• Work with Engineering and Operations teams to clearly document the end-to-end application architecture including the upstream and downstream transaction flows and dependencies on core data center and infrastructure solutions such as AutoSys, TAM, MFT.
• Update TPI (Technology Portfolio Insight) with accurate environment data for IT application foot print and help accurately maintain TCO.
• Directly work with Engineering & Architecture teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions in the areas of Virtualization, Cloud Computing, Business Continuality Planning/Disaster Recovery solutions in-line with business needs and technology road maps.
• Collaborative responsibilities will include the coordination with IT Shared services for the design, build and production readiness of IT solutions and the development of valid business cases and coordination with Technical Services service lines to ensure implementation of best practices for infrastructure governance, architecture, engineering, production support and service Management.
• Communicate effectively with BTOs to identify the needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions and strategies.
• Continually define ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Qualifications: 2 to 4 years of professional experience in Information Technology
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Prior experience with scripting and automation using (Shell, Perl, Python) a plus
• Experience in championing change and effectively managing project/program implementation
• Knowledge of technical project management, project implementation, infrastructure engineering
• Understanding of HA and DR concepts as they apply to Infrastructure Designs
• Experience with Legacy to Current Infrastructure migrations
• As an individual contributor, responsible for designing, sizing & scaling infrastructure solutions for Application projects
• Experience with the one or more of the following Technologies: Apache/Tomcat, Weblogic, MSSQL, UDB, Client, Cisco - Blade Centers, Linux, Windows, Solaris, AIX – OS, VMAX, VNX – SAN, Netapp, VNX – NAS, Cisco Nexus – Switches
• Preferred Skills: Knowledge of secondary mortgage market, Multifamily business and/or servicing.
• Working knowledge of corporate governance policies and procedures
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2007/2010 and intranet site administration tools
• Superior oral and written communications skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively with continuous change and short deadlines
• Demonstrated business acumen, problem solving skills, intellectual maturity, and relationship management skills
• Education Level: Bachelor Degree
• 2 Years Experience
• Skills: 3 - 5 exp Year Microsoft Office
• 1 - 3 Year exp Operations experience
