Senior Human Resources Manager

We are partnering with a closely-held company based in Greenville, SC to find a Senior Human Resources Manager to join their team. This role is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the organization’s people strategy, policies, and operations. This role partners with executive leadership to develop and implement initiatives that support organizational goals, drive employee engagement, ensure compliance, and promote a positive workplace culture. This person is responsible to lead the HR team and manage key functions including talent acquisition, payroll, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:

Strategic Leadership Develop and implement strategies aligned with the organization’s overall business objectives Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and talent management Lead initiatives to improve company culture, employee engagement, and retention Talent Management Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning processes Develop programs for employee development, training, and leadership growth Ensure effective performance management systems are in place Employee Experience & Relations Provide guidance and resolution for employee relations matters Promote a positive and inclusive workplace environment Develop policies that support employee engagement and organizational values Compliance & Policy Development Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Develop, update, and enforce people policies and procedures Maintain accurate employee records and documentation Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Oversee payroll operations to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and payroll tax requirements Oversee compensation strategies and benefits programs Ensure competitive and equitable pay practices Evaluate and recommend improvements to benefits offerings Team Management Manage HR/People systems, reporting, and workforce data analysis Monitor workforce metrics and recommend improvements to processes and program

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred 8–10+ years of progressive experience in People Operations, Human Resources, or related functions, with at least 2 years in a leadership role Experience overseeing payroll, benefits, and employee lifecycle processes Strong knowledge of employment laws, payroll compliance, and people management best practices Strategic thinking and leadership Strong interpersonal and communication skills Conflict resolution and employee relations expertise Organizational and project management skills Analytical and decision-making ability High level of professionalism and confidentiality For confidential consideration, email View email address on click.appcast.io or apply directly! #J-18808-Ljbffr Forge Search
