Summary:
As a Shipping Clerk, you will perform shipping duties for the plant, including scheduling shipments, tagging products, maintaining an organized warehouse, and operating a forklift. This role supports efficient warehouse operations by ensuring accurate documentation, timely shipments, and strong communication with internal teams and transportation partners.
Responsibilities:
- Check in drivers, verify truck seals, and coordinate truck scheduling for loading and unloading activities.
- Operate forklifts and assist with the movement, organization, and storage of products within the warehouse.
- Prepare shipping documentation, process daily data entry, and maintain accurate shipment and order records.
- Coordinate export shipments, including containers and required export documentation.
- Communicate with customer service, supervisors, and transportation providers to support shipment schedules and resolve issues.
- 2-4 years of experience in shipping, warehousing, or distribution center operations.
- Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy in shipping documents and product quantities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to maintain organized records and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
