Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing standardized assessments and observational techniques.
• Craft personalized treatment plans that address both short-term objectives and long-term speech, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy interventions emphasizing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to develop cohesive care strategies.
• Provide education for patients and their families to foster progress beyond clinical sessions.
• Assist with inpatient evaluations and interventions to guarantee a seamless continuum of care.
• Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation in adherence to all guidelines and regulations.
• Advance your expertise through ongoing education and professional collaboration.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• A completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.
• Valid State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of employment.
