Grant Administrator, Post Award

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory

Responsibilities Ensuring that institutional and third‑party policies, laws, and regulations regarding sponsored research support are proactively addressed. Third‑party award set–ups, sub‑award invoicing and monitoring, and effort reporting compliance. Post‑award analytics and other reporting needs, as well as supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP‑Workday) and Huron HRS activities. Coordinating the preparation, compilation and submission of progress report documentation, which may include preparing budgets, other support documentation, and research compliance‑related records. Maintaining and monitoring scientific reporting schedules and proactively engaging research investigators and their administrators in upcoming scientific reporting obligations. Interfacing with CSHL investigators and collaborating institutions to identify and support the needs of funding organizations for prior approval requests that include carryover, re‑budgeting and no‑cost extensions. Training institutional staff in the use of electronic grant application and management systems, assisting with the preparation of research funding information for the CSHL Annual Report and other OSP‑related reporting functions. Benefits and Compensation Salary range: $65,000–$70,000.
