Special Education Teacher (K–12)

Location: Detroit, MI

Term: 2026/2027 School Year

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday

Setting: Onsite

Caseload: K–12 Openings Available

We are hiring full-time Special Education Teachers for onsite positions across K–12 schools in Detroit, Michigan for the 2026–2027 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and academic interventions based on student IEP goals.

• Develop, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to support student success.

• Facilitate IEP meetings and maintain accurate progress monitoring data.

Requirements:

• Licensure: Active Michigan Special Education Teaching Certificate (valid endorsement for K–12 or specific grade band).

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
