Assistant Property Manager (Bilingual Required – English/Spanish) Location: Chicago, IL 60612 Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site Pay: $22–$23/hour + Benefits About the Opportunity We are partnering with a growing property management company in Chicago to hire a Bilingual Assistant Property Manager for a residential community. This position requires fluency in both English and Spanish , as you will regularly communicate with Spanish-speaking residents and assist with day-to-day property operations. Previous property management or leasing experience is preferred, but candidates with strong customer service and administrative experience are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Assist with the daily operations of the property Provide exceptional customer service to residents in both English and Spanish Support leasing activities, including property tours, applications, move-ins, and move-outs Answer resident questions and help resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner Assist with rent collection, resident notices, and ongoing resident communications Maintain organized resident files and property records Coordinate with maintenance staff regarding work orders and resident needs Help ensure the property meets company and community standards Support occupancy and resident retention goals through positive resident experiences Qualifications Fluency in both English and Spanish is required Previous property management, leasing, administrative, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Comfortable working on-site and interacting with residents daily Experience with affordable housing or LIHTC is a plus, but not required Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems What They're Looking For A bilingual professional who enjoys working with residents and building positive relationships Someone who is organized, dependable, and willing to take initiative Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with residents, vendors, and team members Interest in long-term career growth within the property management industry #J-18808-Ljbffr SustainableHR
