Anesthesia Technician

Fertitta Family College of Medicine at the University of Houston. JOB SUMMARY The Anesthesia Technician I (AT I) performs a variety of activities that support the Anesthesiology Service. The AT I assists anesthesiologists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) with the technical preparation for inducing anesthesia, intubation, and airway management. The AT I demonstrates personal and professional effectiveness. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Licensure/Specialized Training: Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an Anesthesia Technology program preferred. Licensure/Certification: None Work Experience: One (1) year related experience preferred. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact) Bilingual Skills Required.
