Position Overview In this role you will coordinate daily deliveries with our customers and provide answers and solutions to various customer requests. Working with a team, you will deliver top‑tier customer service while contributing to the growth of our communities. Company Benefits Family culture – we treat our team like family Medical / Dental / Vision / Prescription coverage Generous paid time off 401(k) with 5% company match & profit sharing Potential for overtime Opportunities for internal mobility Professional development opportunities Training provided Tuition reimbursement program Employee assistance program Company paid life insurance Short‑ and long‑term disability coverage Employee referral program Company discounts on products, goods, services, electronics, automotive, travel & more Opportunities for community engagement Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) Answer customer and driver calls in a timely and professional manner Schedule and track orders and deliveries Prepare the daily schedule for next‑day deliveries outlining equipment, personnel, and material needed Coordinate deliveries with customers, sales, quality control, operators and other personnel regarding special materials, customer requirements, plant and material availability Maintain knowledge of city streets and surrounding areas to assist drivers in locating specific job sites Develop a positive rapport with ready‑mix drivers, team members and customers Schedule, dispatch and control the appropriate number of drivers to satisfy customer demand while maintaining safety and efficiency goals Work overtime and varying shifts, including early mornings, late afternoons and Saturdays Record accurate delivery and product information on orders; negotiate delivery times with customers Enter daily time for all drivers using the time entry system Pay attention to detail to accurately record delivery and product information in the command dispatch system and negotiate delivery times Perform in high call volume situations while multitasking with plants and team members in the office while seated for extended periods Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions Promptly communicate with supervisors about any flaws in material Perform other tasks and duties as assigned to meet business needs Other Requirements Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures outlined in the Manual of Safety Practices and Procedures Strict adherence to company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co‑workers or supervisors with other duties as required Timely and regular attendance is essential Adherence to the workplace schedule is required Position is subject to pre‑employment drug screening Participation in and promotion of an inclusive work environment Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
