Inside Sales & Customer Experience Specialist

This is not a robotic data-entry, script-reading, or remote role. This is a fully on-site position where you will be on the phone day in and day out as the very first person our customers speak to. Because we are a premium brand, you must be entirely comfortable handling rejection. Many potential clients may hesitate based on price or decide not to book initially. We need a self-starter who isn't afraid of a "no"someone who will confidently ask why they are hesitating, overcome objections, and proactively communicate the value of the Mr. Handyman Way.

Lead Management and Scheduling: You will be responsible for inbound and outbound customer communications while organizing work and managing schedules for our Service Professionals.

Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations: You'll communicate with customers to guide them through their projects and assist with managing their expectations.

Overcoming Objections: When a customer hesitates to book or chooses a different route, you will confidently dig deeper, ask clarifying questions, and effectively communicate our unique trade value.

Create Life-Long Customers: Deliver a great experience that wows every customer. You will follow the Mr. Handyman Waya repeatable process that makes it easy to impress the customer every time.

On-Site Availability: Must be able to commute reliably to our local office daily.

Resilient & Fearless: Comfortable handling rejection and confident enough to ask customers for feedback when they choose not to book.

Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage complex schedules and client notes seamlessly.

Professional Communication: Warm, engaging, and exceptional phone skills.

Tech-Savvy: Solid computer experience, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.

Local Candidate: Must live within San Antonio

Problem Solver: Solving problems must come easily to you, paired with excellent independent work skills.

Background Check: Must be willing to complete a standard background check.

Reliability: Ready to commit to a consistent, full-time 40-hour work week.
