As an Account Lead, you are accountable for client results, retention, and team performance across both the accounts you manage directly and those managed by your direct reports.

What You’ll Do:

• Own client success across your accounts and those managed by your direct reports, including advertising performance, client satisfaction, retention, and growth.

• Apply hands-on, cross-channel expertise across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, and emerging paid channels to guide strategy, campaign execution, testing, and measurement.

• Manage your own accounts , leading strategy, execution, and client relationships while setting clear expectations and delivering against client goals for key accounts.

• Lead and develop your direct reports , setting clear priorities, balancing workloads, and providing timely feedback and coaching to support their performance, growth, and retention.

• Own the quality and delivery of your team’s work , ensuring campaigns, test plans, and reporting meet standards, support client goals, and stay on schedule and within budget.

• Be the first point of escalation for your team’s accounts , proactively addressing issues and driving resolution rather than passing problems up.

• Keep leadership informed about account health, team performance, and capacity, flagging risks early and providing clear recommendations and next steps.

• Uphold and improve department processes , holding your team accountable to shared standards and identifying ways to work more effectively.

• Support sales as needed through account audits, strategy development, and prospect presentations.

Primary Qualifications

• 8+ years of paid advertising experience , including substantial client-facing experience leading account strategy, execution, and client relationships.

• Strong hands-on experience across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn, and Meta , with the expertise to guide cross-channel strategy, campaign execution, testing, and measurement—not just oversee others doing the work.

• At least 1 year of experience managing direct reports , with accountability for their development, quality of work, and client results.

• Experience managing a range of client accounts , adapting strategy to different business models, goals, and budgets. A track record of independently managing senior client relationships, addressing performance challenges, and retaining and growing accounts.

• Demonstrated ability to lead analysis, reporting, and QBRs , turning data into clear takeaways, strategic recommendations, and prioritized actions tied to business outcomes. Able to coach your team to do the same.

• Strong judgment and organization , with the ability to prioritize across accounts, balance team workloads, uphold department processes, and address risks before they become larger problems.

• Clear, concise, and timely communication , including the ability to listen, set expectations, give constructive feedback, and navigate difficult conversations with clients and team members.

• Based in the United States. This is a remote role.

We'd Love It If You Also Have

• A mix of in-house and agency experience.

• Experience running multiple paid channels and testing new ones.

• Experience with other marketing channels such as SEO, CRO, organic social, or email.

• Experience building processes, playbooks, or training that scaled beyond your own accounts.

• Prior remote work experience.

• An entrepreneurial mindset and genuine curiosity about the industry.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: 105 - 120k
