  Johnson Service Group is seeking to hire multiple positions for Repair Technician I for a contract position for Day and Swing shifts that can go full time based on performance.  This position will be troubleshooting and repairing servers.

  Day Shift Hours:  6:55 a.m. - 3:25 p.m.
  Payrate $25.50 per hour
  Swing Shift:  3:45 p.m. - 12:15 a.m.
  Payrate $27.00 per hour
  Job Responsibilities
  Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and moderately complex troubleshooting of   complex circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.

  Physical Requirements
  •          Ability to regularly lift, push, and or move up to 50lbs.
  •          Ability to stand for a prolonged period.
  •          Ability to work on ladders.
  Education and Experience
  Typically requires 1-2 years of related experience.
  AS Computer Science and or equivalent experience in related field.

• • Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
  • Effectively communicate and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing documentation.
  • Knowledge of basic office applications, i.e., MS Office (Word, Excel) – spreadsheets and databases.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of computer hardware.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues or failures and communicate findings in written form.

• 1. 1. Knowledgeable of data centers.
     2. Skilled at trouble shooting and explaining their findings in a concise written manner. 
     3. Stricter with the pre-set requirements, experience, and skills specified in the role description.
     4. Feedback is being sent back to recruiters after interviews with repair tech candidates. Please also reach out to them to better select candidates in the future. 
     5. We will be passing on this candidate due to a lack of relevant experience. The hiring manager would like to see more trouble shooting experience on the resume, as it is essential for success in this role. Their experience is focused on IT support, equipment setup and configuration."
