Patient Service Representative- Cortland Urgent Care- Full Time- Days/Evenings FLEX

Check in patients upon arrival

Verify/update patient demographics

Collect outstanding balances and co-pays

Assist with additional scheduling such as labs, x-rays, procedures, or testing; send orders

Take messages and triage phone calls

Schedule patient appointments

Good time management and prioritization skills

Good computer skills- Medent and Microsoft Office are utilized

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous medical office experience preferred

College-level training/education in a healthcare support field preferred

Previous EMR use/training helpful

Sitting-- 90%

Standing-- 10%

Reaching-- 50%

Bending-- 20%

Lifting-- must be able to lift 25 lb.

Location and Travel Requirements:

Location: Onsite at Cortland Urgent Care- 1129 Commons Ave, Cortland NY 13045

Shift: Days/Evenings; Every other weekend as assigned

Travel: 0% Travel can be expected in this role

Pay Range Disclosure:

Standard rate of $18.50 - $23.00 per hour
