Benefits Comparison Analyst (Hybrid) Jupiter Florida
Position Summary
Doumar Insurance Services is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Benefits Comparison Analyst to support our employee benefits team. This role is responsible for researching, analyzing, and comparing health insurance plans from multiple carriers and creating clear, accurate benefit comparison spreadsheets.
Salary: 65,000 to 75,000 annually dependent on experience
Responsibilities
- Analyze and compare employee benefit plans across multiple insurance carriers, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary products.
- Create detailed side-by-side benefit comparison spreadsheets and proposal summaries for clients and prospects.
- Review carrier renewals, quotes, and plan documents to identify key differences in benefits, costs, networks, and coverage provisions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date benefit comparison templates and reporting tools.
- Assist in preparing client presentations, renewal reports, and proposal packages.
- Verify the accuracy of carrier data and resolve discrepancies with carrier representatives when necessary.
- Maintain organized records of carrier information, plan designs, and client deliverables.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in employee benefits, health insurance, underwriting support, brokerage operations, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and data organization a MUST.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret insurance plan documents, summaries of benefits, and carrier proposals.
