Accounts Payable Staff Accountant

Brief overview of position GreenChem Industries is seeking an organized, efficient, and reliable Accounts Payable (A/P) Staff Accountant with an eye for detail and a high level of accuracy. The A/P Staff Accountant is expected to handle communications with vendors and internal departments. Additional duties include NetSuite record maintenance, A/P processing and reports, and providing overall accounting support. The ideal candidate should be self‑motivated, professional, courteous with strong computer skills with an understanding of accounting and financial principles. Detailed list of duties Gather, review & post vendor bills/credits in a timely manner, ensure proper billing classifications and obtain approvals. Track and record credit card transactions. Resolve and answer vendor A/P inquiries. Complete new vendor credit application requests. Arrange and post A/P payments and entries as needed. Create and maintain vendor records and actively record any changes. List of previous qualifying duties College degree required. Experience preferred. Good understanding of accounting procedures and principles. Computer literacy, proficient with Office applications (Word/Excel), Windows. High level of accuracy and efficiency. Strong problem‑solving abilities. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. NetSuite experience is a plus. Benefits 401(k) after 1 year of employment.
