AR Staff Accountant

We are partnering with a growing, mid-sized organization seeking an experienced AR Analyst / Staff Accountant for a 3-4 month contract assignment. This role is focused on supporting a high-volume, multi-entity environment and assisting with cleanup efforts across the accounting function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process daily cash applications with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness
  
• Research and resolve unapplied cash and payment discrepancies
  
• Investigate customer deductions and short payments, including communication with customers to resolve issues
  
• Perform account reconciliations across multiple entities
  
• Support collections efforts and aging cleanup
  
• Assist with general ledger activities and light accounts payable cleanup as needed
  
• Work within a high-volume, transactional environment handling a large number of entries
  

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable with exposure to full-cycle accounting
  
• Strong experience with cash applications, reconciliations, and discrepancy research
  
• Background in high-volume, transactional environments (mid-to-large company experience preferred)
  
• Experience working in multi-entity structures is a plus
  
• Strong communication skills, including customer interaction for issue resolution
  

Pay Details: $25.00 to $33.00 per hour
