Overview:

Insight Global is seeking a Remote Entry Level Regional Sales Representative for a leading industrial manufacturing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent or early-career engineer looking to transition into a customer-facing, business-focused role. The position focuses on managing customer relationships, supporting existing business, and identifying opportunities for growth within an established territory.

Approximately 85% of the role is dedicated to managing existing customer relationships and repeat business, while 10-15% is focused on identifying new opportunities and territory growth.

Previous sales experience is not required . This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and want to transition into technical sales or account management.

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Interest in sales, account management, or business development
• Ability to manage customer relationships and identify growth opportunities
• Comfortable with 50-75% travel to customer sites
• Ability to work independently within a large geographic territory

Day-to-Day:

• Manage a national territory in partnership with another salesperson.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, with roughly 85% of the role focused on repeat business and account management .
• Oversee contracts, pricing, customer orders, and shipment activity to ensure smooth delivery.
• Develop monthly shipment forecasts and track actual performance against projections.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer questions, service concerns, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with technical service and operations teams to address quality, delivery, and payment-related matters.
• Regularly travel to sites and customer locations to strengthen relationships and support ongoing business.
• Dedicate approximately 10-15% of the role to business growth , including identifying new customers, expansion opportunities, and prospective accounts.
