Field Service Technicians

Field Service Technician - Pay rate $22/hr. with increase after hire to $30plus.

This position is contract with an opportunity to be hired full-time.

Integrity Trade Services is hiring Field Service Technicians for our client that manufactures materials and solutions for the steel industry to start at $22/hr.

The field technicians primary duty is to operate the tanker trucks to offload product. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!

Responsibilities:

• Operate, inspect, and maintain equipment
• Schedule and coordinate shipments
• Repair equipment as needed
• Follow safety procedures and maintain production records
• Work directly with customers to meet operational needs
• Offload product from bulk tanker trucks at customer facilities

Location: Dixmoor and South Side of Chicago

Schedule/Shift Details: Train on days, then move to overnights. 8pm start time

What we are looking For

• Comfortable using tools and equipment
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, safety-focused, and self-motivated
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• OSHA certification a plus
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills
• Must be able to travel up to 2 weeks at a time

Schedule & Requirements

• Overtime as needed
• Occasional travel to customer sites for several weeks at a time
• 8-12 hour shifts

• IL Paid Leave for All Workers
• An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act. The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment. An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment. Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave

• 401(k) with company match for eligible employees.

Eligibility: Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age. Entry dates into the 401(k) are: 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work.
The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution. As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
