Industrial Electrician

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal apprenticeship or technical degree in electrical technology is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a high-tech manufacturing or medical device environment. Deep proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) diagnostics is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E safety standards. Ability to work on micro-scale components and high-voltage systems with extreme attention to detail. Experience wiring and troubleshooting electrical panels Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders/man-lifts as required for equipment maintenance Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on high-precision manufacturing systems, including high-speed extruders, rotary braiders, and planetary cablers. Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues involving AC/DC drives, PLC systems, HMI panels, and advanced sensors. Maintain and calibrate automated laser stripping equipment to ensure micro-sized insulation removal meets medical-grade tolerances. Install and wire new machinery, ensuring all electrical configurations comply with local codes and company safety protocols. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve equipment efficiency and mitigate EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) issues within the braiding and cabling processes.
