Sr. Consultant - Dept of War. Contract Management Cell (CMC)

Here is the Role: The Senior Consultant is responsible for supporting the Defense Health Agency, Direct Care Financial Management, in identifying and prioritizing deobligations across contracts. They use GFEBS, DEAMS, WAWF, and ADVANA to access and analyze financial and contracting data. They deploy analytics to convert data into actionable insights and support reporting and business intelligence queries. They research technical and industry issues, ensure the completion and accuracy of all work products, and expand consulting skills through training, mentoring, and client interaction. They monitor contract reports, partner with accounts payable and program activities to correct data quality issues, and coordinate with contracting to validate reports. Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree Your Responsibilities: Identify and prioritize deobligations Access to GFEBS/DEAMS, WAWF and ADVANA Deploy analytics to help our clients harness data to create insights in actionable form Assist with researching various technical and industry specific issues Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products Actively expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring and daily interaction with clients Monitor all contract related reports and works with AP and activities and to correct data quality issues Work with contracting to validate reports Other duties as assigned Skillset Requirements: Experience working independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels Experience prioritizing tasks, working on multiple assignments and managing ambiguity Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and cross functional teams Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a fast paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint as well as Internet research tools Experience with GFEBS/SAP Experience with Tableau What do you get: Medical/Dental/Vision 401K (up to 5% match) 11 Paid Holidays 4-5 weeks PTO (depending on level) Bonus Incentives Professional Development Telework Continuing Education Credit Culture Statement: At JS Perkins Consulting, we believe our people are the foundation of our success.
