Field Marketing Specialist - Buffalo Wild Wings

The Field Marketing Specialist will partner with Buffalo Wild Wings franchisees to support local marketing programs that drive incremental transactions and guest engagement. Serve as a primary connection point between franchise operators and the Buffalo Wild Wings marketing organization, providing consultative support across local marketing initiatives, new restaurant openings, remodels, marketing technology platforms, and local marketing tactics. This position reports to the Manager, Franchise Field Marketing and sits within the Integrated Marketing Communications Team.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBuild and maintain relationships with franchisees, field teams, agency partners, vendors, and support center stakeholders.

• Support local marketing programs, promotions, partnerships, sponsorships, and community engagement initiatives.
• Provide reporting, insights, and administrative support to help inform local marketing decisions and business performance.
• Develop franchise communications, presentations, training materials, templates, and marketing resources.
• Support HubKonnect onboarding, training, troubleshooting, and utilization of local marketing tools and resources.
• Support local marketing spend tracking, audit administration, and compliance-related processes.
• Assist franchisees with New Restaurant Opening (NRO) and remodel marketing planning, execution, communications, and post-opening support.
• Coordinate local creative requests and facilitate asset development through approved internal and agency partners.
• Support local SEO, business listings management, online presence updates, map listings, business hours maintenance, and review-related inquiries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the brand to support marketing programs, activations, initiatives, and franchise needs.
• Support local social media, influencer marketing, public relations, sponsorships, and community engagement efforts in accordance with brand standards and policies.
• Coordinate franchise requests related to local media, sponsorship, and community marketing opportunities.
• Support Franchise Marketing Managers with focus markets, market-specific initiatives, sponsorship activations, and franchise consultation needs.
• Coordinate franchise marketing meetings, communications, stakeholder distribution lists, and marketing records.
• Support loyalty program inquiries, marketing variance requests, and franchise marketing documentation.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for franchise marketing inquiries and coordinate support with appropriate internal teams.
• Participate in regional meetings, franchise conferences, and market visits as needed.EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONSMinimum: 4 yr degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS• 2+ years of experience in field marketing, franchise marketing, local marketing, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting multi-unit, franchise, or distributed business models preferred.
• Experience supporting local marketing programs within a franchise organization, including partnership with operators, field teams, and cross-functional stakeholders preferred.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with franchisees, agency partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing technology platforms.

• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 20% as business needs require.PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES• Experience supporting local marketing programs within a franchise, restaurant, retail, hospitality, or consumer-facing brand environment.
