Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and knowledgeable Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer to join our expanding team of imaging specialists dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. You will be equipped with advanced ultrasound technology to execute an array of diagnostic procedures, collaborate with a team of supportive healthcare providers, and ensure that our patients receive the peace of mind they deserve through accurate imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Guarantee patient comfort and safety during examinations, providing clear explanations of each process with empathy
• Work alongside radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records in our electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or recognized equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• High proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Comfortable in a rapid-paced environment with a focus on patient-centered care
