Our mission is to serve the needs of our customers, today and tomorrow, with products and services that exceed expectations for performance and environmental responsibility.People • Customers • TrustStarting pay is $21.36/hr with an increase to $23.73/hr after successful training plus $0.35 shift differentialPaid weekly plus annual bonusAvailable Shift: Night Shift 6:40pm to 5:10amResponsibilities:Set up of production equipment including blades.Data entry in the computer to move product through the system.Ensure a high-quality product is coming off the machine by conducting quality checks to ensure required slit positions, depth, dimensions, labeling, and packaging.Train and direct temporary employees when needed.Work to continuously improve set up time, speed, and waste.Follow all safety rules and policies, make suggestions to improve safety and look out for fellow employees' safety.Assist other departments as needed.Other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:High school diploma or GED.Some industrial experience.Works well in a team environment.Available to work either day or night shift.Must be able to work overtime as needed.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience operating corrugated printing equipment.Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment, with an understanding that temperatures and volumesCompensation and Benefits:Starting salary for position: $21.36 per hour with an increase after successful training.Bonus: Annual – Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.Paid Holidays.Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan.
