Speech-Language Pathologist/Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Student Clinical PlacementsAre you an SLP or SLPA student seeking meaningful, hands-on clinical experience? Arbor Therapy welcomes students enrolled in accredited speech-language pathology and speech-language pathology assistant programs for clinical placements at our outpatient clinics throughout the greater Phoenix area.Students work alongside experienced clinicians while developing their clinical knowledge, confidence, and professional skills in a supportive, interdisciplinary environment.What You'll Gain at Arbor TherapyHands-on experience in a private outpatient clinic settingGuidance and supervision from experienced, licensed speech-language pathology professionalsExposure to diverse client populations, diagnoses, and communication needsExperience with evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming practicesOpportunities to participate in evaluations, treatment planning, documentation, caregiver education, and intervention activities, as appropriate for the placementExposure to speech, language, social communication, feeding, and augmentative and alternative communication services, depending on placement availabilityCollaboration with speech-language, occupational, physical, and feeding therapy professionalsPreferred QualificationsCurrent enrollment in an accredited SLP or SLPA programCompletion of all educational and clinical prerequisites required by your programStrong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsInterest in supporting clients with diverse communication needsWillingness to learn, accept feedback, and take initiativeAbility to meet the scheduling and hour requirements of the assigned placementPlacement RequirementsBefore beginning a clinical placement, students must provide:Current CPR certificationValid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance CardCurrent Article 9 certificationAny additional documentation or training required by Arbor Therapy, the student's educational program, or applicable funding sourcesHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume through this job posting for consideration.
