Banyan Recovery & Treatment Centers is seeking dedicated Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to join our innovative team. This full-time role offers the flexibility of a remote work environment as well as the opportunity to conduct face-to-face sessions in our Rockwall, Texas outpatient office. As a pivotal member of our healthcare team, you will provide vital mental health services to our clients, helping them navigate trauma recovery and develop meaningful coping strategies.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, complemented by the option to meet clients in our outpatient facility located in Rockwall, Texas. Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will perform an array of essential functions:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and craft personalized treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans designed to promote trauma recovery and resilience among clients.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients effectively.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process traumatic events, develop coping mechanisms, and enhance their healing journey.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for our clients.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients feel safe and heard.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, helping them understand available resources for support.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and trauma-informed care.
• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, integrating new knowledge into your treatment approach.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, paired with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preferred qualifications include:

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.
• Hands-on experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
• An interest in professional development, including openness to training in couples therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

Banyan Recovery offers a competitive salary range between USD 70,000 and 110,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. We also provide:
