Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required within the last 3 years.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to titrate heparin, amiodarone, Cardizem, and insulin drips. Must be able to interpret EKGs.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Neuro experience highly preferred.

Required Credentials: You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. Pass/fail SIMs Lab competency for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Unit Details: Central telemetry monitoring. Common diagnoses/patient population include trached patients, CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, encephalopathy, ESRD, psych issues, and brain tumors. Fast-paced, high-turnaround unit with bedside report. No ventilators.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks. Worked into permanent holiday rotation.

Floating Requirements: Float to tele units and tele overflow in ICU.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
