Schedule: 12-hour shifts (6a-7p or 6p-7a); weekend coverage required (Friday nights count as weekend shifts); ideal for local providers

Highlights:

• Teaching hospital ICU setting with 10-bed unit and average daily census of 7 adult patients
• Responding clinician role with no procedures – bread and butter ICU and medical-surgical care with occasional burn patients
• Supervised team environment with 4 APPs on staff; MD supervision during day shifts and fellow/attending supervision during night shifts
• Epic EMR system in use
• Morning and afternoon rounding with attending physician
• Local candidates preferred due to commuting requirements

Requirements:

• Physician Assistant (PA) only – must hold or be eligible for Massachusetts PA license (3-5 week processing time)
• Board certification in Acute Care required
• 2+ years of critical care/ICU experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Active DEA registration required
• 90-day credentialing timeframe
