Operations Specialist - Loan Servicing - Miami

Manages payment administration processes, including payment setup and modifications, wire and loan payments, suspense account reconciliation, remittance processing, and handling non-posted or purchased loan transactions. Accountable for adhering to the Bank's BSA, AML, and Office of Foreign Control (OFAC), applicable policies. Employee must follow specific unit procedures developed in compliance with the policies. Employee is also responsible for reporting any suspicious activity and / or transactions in accordance with the Bank's processes and comply with any mandatory BSA, AML, OFAC, training assigned Essential Job Functions Quality Control of the daily work Account & General Ledger Reconciliations General Ledger Reconciliation Loan Trial Balance (Beast) Loan Inquiries Payment Administration, Disbursement and suspense Wire Transfer Loan Payments Customer Payment Suspense Non-Posted Loan Items Maintenance of Check Log Responsible for working supply of loan checks Quality Control of the Department's Work Daily Review of Reports Audits Assist in the gathering items pertaining to audits Assist in gathering items pertaining to audits Assist in responsible to audit questions Corporate Loan - Payment Administration and Disbursements Additional Responsibilities Support to other departments Work Experience Required 1-2 years' experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong written and verbal communication Prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and coordinate resources effectively Handle sensitive financial and personnel information responsibly Ability to use Microsoft Office tools, banking software, data security protocols, and digital platforms Respond to changing regulations, market conditions, and organizational needs Understand and respond to internal and external clients' needs Knowledge of laws, regulatory compliance and other financial regulations Customer Focus Anticipate and provide service excellence to both internal and external customers.
