Job Title: Summer HR Intern

Job Type: Part Time Internship

Job Salary: $16/hour

Job Schedule: 20-25 hrs/week

Job Location: Houston, TX 77002

Pre-Employment Requirements: Successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and any applicable assessments

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer HR Intern to support our HR team with a focus on recruiting, sourcing, and administrative operations. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in talent acquisition and human resources while working closely with experienced professionals.

• Assist with the recruiting and sourcing process , including reviewing resumes and identifying qualified candidates
  
• Help coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
  
• Conduct initial outreach to candidates via phone, email, or LinkedIn
  
• Support the HR team with data entry and applicant tracking system (ATS) updates
  
• Perform scanning, shredding, and digitizing of employee files to maintain accurate records
  
• Assist with HR administrative tasks and projects as needed
  
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a or completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  
• Interest in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR operations
  
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
  
• Computer-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and software
• Bilingual a plus!
  

• Hands-on experience in full-cycle recruiting and HR operations
  
• Exposure to HR systems, processes, and best practices
