Cost Accountant

COST ACCOUNTANT – MANUFACTURING A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join its accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working closely with operations and analyzing costs, inventory, and financial performance. What You’ll Do Analyze and maintain product and manufacturing costs Support month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Analyze inventory, variances, and cost of goods sold Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Partner with operations to identify cost trends and opportunities for improvement Maintain accurate costing and accounting records Support audits and other accounting projects as needed What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory, and general accounting principles Experience with standard costing, variance analysis, and month-end close preferred Strong Excel skills and attention to detail Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and communicate findings effectively #J-18808-Ljbffr CFS
