• Start Date: May 25, 2026
• End Date: December 2026 (ongoing coverage dates)
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
• Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient + Call
• Schedule:
• 8:00a‚Äì4:30p onsite with clinic built into day
• Night call: 4:30p‚Äì8:00a
• Weekend call: 24-hour shifts (8:00a‚Äì8:00a)
• Multiple specific date blocks available (May‚ÄìDecember)
• Patients per day: ~6‚Äì8
• EMR: Cerner
• Location: Petoskey, MI
### Requirements
• Board Certified in Neurology (BE not accepted)
• Active MI license
• Active DEA
• BLS and ACLS (NIH Stroke Scale/tPA preferred)
• Local candidates only (no flights)
• NPDB self-query (within 30 days)
• Must provide full presentation details (contact info, DOB, availability, rates)
### Clinical Details
• Scope:
• Inpatient neurology coverage with outpatient clinic integration
• EEG reads (inpatient and outpatient)
• Responsibilities include:
• Neurologic evaluations and management
• Radiologic exam interpretation
• Lumbar punctures
• EEG interpretation
• Brain death examinations
• Evoked potentials
• Provide continuous hospital coverage when not in clinic
• Support:
• Hospital-based team and clinical staff
• Mix of inpatient care, consults, and scheduled clinic visits
