Come join our growing team!ResponsibilitiesLeading and coordinating engineering activities for the technical support, design and development of commercial solar and energy storage systems.Hire, supervise, support and develop engineering teamAssist engineering project management team as needed learning all aspects of the team's responsibilitiesMaintain strong relationships with clientsAssess current SOPs and workflows identifying opportunities for improvementEnsure projects are completed efficiently, correctly, on schedule, and within budgetNegotiate contracts with outside vendorsMaintain relationships and manage expectations with engineering consultants and equipment vendorsReview engineering work for accuracy and ensuring compliance with engineering principlesReview RFPs and contract documentsAct as liaison with Project Management on matters relating to engineering progress, quality, scope issues on projects as well as interface with customers on technical questions/concernsResearch latest technologies and best practicesEducation & ExperienceDegree in engineering, electrical preferred7+ years of engineering experience2+ years of PV design engineering experience2+ years of engineering management experienceBattery/Storage experience, preferredExcellent organizational skills & attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyEffective communication skills both written and verbalProject management and time management skillsExpertise in building strong relationshipsProficiency in understanding solar system design (Heliosocpe, AutoCAD, PVsyst)NABCEP Design Specialist Certification preferredKnowledge of Electric (NEC) and Fire codesExperience preparing electrical engineering design packagesIf you believe your background and experience could be a great fit for this role, please apply directly or send your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io
