Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Privia, your role will be multifaceted, including but not limited to:

• Engaging clients in individual counseling sessions via video to enhance their mental health and well-being.

• Encouraging open dialogue regarding emotions and life experiences to help clients gain valuable insights into themselves and improve their interpersonal relationships.

• Acting as an advocate for clients, assisting them in identifying and defining their personal goals.

• Evaluating clients’ mental health conditions comprehensively and developing personalized treatment plans through a solution-focused approach based on your clinical expertise.

• Utilizing established methodologies and accessible therapeutic techniques to manage clients' progress effectively and adjust treatment as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients that you will support are prescreened individuals who are stable, represent a variety of demographic backgrounds, and generally exhibit lower acuity issues. Our emphasis on screening ensures that your time is spent effectively with clients who are genuinely ready to engage in the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• A valid, independent mental health license issued by the state board. Acceptable licenses include:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

• Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
\n
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

• Demonstrated ability to make professional evaluations and recommendations for treatment planning.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate disposition

• Strong computer literacy skills to effectively manage digital tools and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n
