Senior ServiceNow Engineer

What you will be doing

As a Senior ServiceNow Engineer within the Operational Excellence team, you will play a key role in Baringa’s digital transformation. You will help drive iterative improvements to our platform and processes, while shaping your own remit, influencing how we work, and supporting continuous improvement across the function.

You'll work alongside the Head of Operational Excellence and the ServiceNow Centre of Excellence, partnering with stakeholders across Technology & Cyber to solve problems, streamline processes, improve service outcomes, and support the delivery of strategic initiatives. The role offers broad exposure, significant responsibility, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on how Technology & Cyber operates. We operate on a configuration first, customisation last development model.

• System design, configuration, testing and support.
• Implementing ServiceNow standards as best practices.
• Working with Workflow Studio flows and integrations.
• Supporting our current stack as BAU – CSM, ITSM, FCM, WSD and more.
• Ability to define, document and implement technical requirements.
• Experience in integrations & Service Graph Connections .
• Identify opportunities to automate business processes and end user experience in general.

Your skills and experience

• Certified System Administrator required.
• Certified Application Developer preferred.
• ITIL foundation certification is preferred.
• Experience in ServiceNow ITSM implementations and support.
• Additionally, experience in CSM and HRSD a huge plus.
• Well organised and proactive individual who is calm under pressure with the ability to problem solve.
• Experienced in working in an Agile environment with the ability to prioritise appropriately.
• Excellent soft skills with the ability to communicate to all levels within the business.
