Job Title: General Laborer Job Description

Join an international provider of critical environmental cleaning services, responsible for the ongoing construction cleaning and final cleaning services of data centers. As a General Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all exposed interior surfaces within the construction area are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.

• Clean all exposed interior surfaces within the construction area from the floor to the building deck above.
• Perform tasks such as moping, wiping, vacuuming, and brushing surfaces to remove dust and dirt as materials are being built or constructed.
• Utilize equipment such as scissor lifts and boom poles for hard-to-reach areas, as well as brooms and towels.
• Remain alert at all times while working around ongoing construction.
• Pressure wash outside panels once installed, generator coverings, and flooring.
• Work while standing, kneeling, bending, and utilizing ladders.

• Experience in construction, cleaning, and general labor.
• Understanding of janitorial practices and hand tools.
• Mitigation and restoration skills.
• Hazwoper certification is a plus.

• Valid driver's license.
• 1+ years experience in a laborious role.
• Ability to stand for 10+ hours a day.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the potential for longer days and overtime. Enjoy a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, with microwaves available for use. Occasional Saturdays may be required. Dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and work-appropriate shirts, with specific safety gear provided unless contractors already have them. The work is primarily indoors with some outdoor tasks, and contractors need to be prepared for all weather conditions. The work site requires a 10-minute walk from the parking lot to the guard shack for daily check-in, with team collaboration being essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manassas, VA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
