Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations. **This position is contingent upon the program award expected fall 2026. **Standard Job Description: Perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration. Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations. Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company. Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.Basic Qualifications• Ability to work with FAR or DAFRS or other agency regulations or commercial regulations• Managing or negotiating contracts or agreements or anything else related • Compliant administration of contracts• Bachelors or Master's degree from an accredited college or in lieu of degree relevant experience will be considered.• US Citizenship required, candidate must hold Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/ SCI and successfully pass a drug and background check.Desired Skills• Ability to develop trusted partnerships with internal and external customers• Experience with US Government procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS) in all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposals, administration, and close-out.• Strong business acumen with the ability to recognize risk elements in business transactions.• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.• Knowledge of Lockheed Martin’s policies and procedures and business systems.• Self-starter, requiring little to no direct supervision, and has the ability to comprehend complex financial and business concepts.• Demonstrated ability to interface at senior levels of management both within the company and as the external company representative with our customer(s) representing contracts, technical, business, and program issues professionally and clearly.• Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.• Contract drafting experience and experience with various contract types and contracting vehicles.• This individual will have demonstrated abilities to develop customer relationships, shape RFPs, and have participated in proposal development and bid strategy.• Possess excellent relationship-building skills with peers, leadership, and suppliers.• Ability to influence positive business outcomes with fact, reason, and the ability to convey the company’s positions through exceptional oral and written communication skills.• Advanced educational degree(s), such as JD or MBA.• NCMA and/or IACCM certification is highly desired but not required.• US Citizenship required, candidate must have ability to obtain and maintain TS/ SCI with polygraph and successfully pass a drug and background check.• 8+ years of relevant contracts management experiencesPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $100200.00 - $186200.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
