Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed patient assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations to determine specific patient needs and craft individualized treatment plans. Utilize a variety of therapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to enhance patient recovery and outcomes. Educate patients and their families about therapy goals, progress, and home exercises to ensure comprehension and engagement in the rehabilitation process. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including occupational and speech therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients. Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and treatment plans, adhering to clinic policies and regulatory standards to ensure compliance. Stay informed of emerging trends in physical therapy, consistently integrating evidence-based practices into daily treatments for improved outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus This role centers on a diverse patient population, primarily including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will engage with patients of all ages, each with unique therapeutic needs and goals, providing an array of treatment strategies tailored to each individual. This client focus not only enhances your clinical skills but also presents the gratifying experience of witnessing your patients' progress over time. Qualifications Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New York. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, but new graduates with relevant clinical rotations are encouraged to apply. Ability to effectively utilize therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to manual therapy and functional movement assessments. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive patient interactions and team collaboration. Preferred Experience Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and familiarity with rehabilitation technologies, such as therapeutic ultrasound and electrical stimulation, will be advantageous. Additionally, proficiency in evidence-based practice methodologies is valued. Compensation and Benefits The Physical Therapist position at BodySync PT offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and performance.
