Title
RN - Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum (LDRP)

Schedule
- Weekend rotation: 4-6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Saturday/Sunday) plus 2 Fridays per 6-week schedule
- On-call: 2 mandatory on-call shifts per 6-week schedule
- Holiday requirement: 1 major holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas) + 1-2 minor holidays (e.g., New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day)

Assignment Details
- Patient ratio: 1:1-1:3
- Contracts are not specified.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years RN experience required
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP
- Preferred: AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate
- Epic EMR experience required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, utilizing both external and internal fetal monitoring techniques.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and perform circulating/scrub duties for cesarean sections.
- Manage postpartum care, including breastfeeding support and wound/incision care.
- Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered, maintaining safety and compliance with protocols.
- Respond to emergency situations, providing immediate interventions as necessary.

Compliance / Notes
- Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Documentation deadlines: Required documents due 2 Fridays prior to start
- Mandatory pre-start modules: 10-15 hours total; modules due by Monday 1 week prior to start
- Epic training: Complete Epic module/test-out first
- Mandatory equipment training: Infusion pump and glucometer training must be completed by the Sunday before start
