Customer Accounts Representatives (or Account Representatives) serve as the primary liaison between a company and its clients, managing relationships, resolving issues, and driving sales growth. They act as a hybrid of customer service and sales, focusing on retaining existing clients while identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services.

Key Responsibilities and Roles

• Building and maintaining relationships, acting as the main point of contact, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Identifying new business leads by participating in bidding, upselling products/services, and meeting sales goals.
• Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, and resolving complaints promptly.
• Processing orders, preparing invoices, maintaining accurate CRM records, and auditing client files.
• Supporting onboarding for new clients and managing the renewal process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or account management is often preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• A high school diploma is standard, though a bachelor's degree in business or marketing may be preferred for advanced roles.
• Strong Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office Suite
