Opportunity Overview Project Management Consultant – Level 2‑BESS Contract: 1 Year Location: Juno Beach, FL – 100% Onsite Note: No per diem or relocation assistance; applicant must live within a drivable distance of Juno Beach, FL. Your Day-to-Day Our client’s Engineering & Construction (E&C) Business Unit seeks a Senior Project Management Consultant in Juno Beach, FL. You will coordinate daily project activities across multiple projects and stages—Development, Engineering, Estimating, Supply Chain, Scheduling, and Construction. Projects span the United States and Canada, requiring occasional travel for local public hearings. Responsibilities Coordinate highly matrixed project development teams, ensuring resources focus on the right activity at the right time to meet project schedule. Coordinate with environmental, regulatory, cultural, land acquisition, and interconnection partners to identify and incorporate all project variables. Develop the project’s technical scope. Increase project variables to improve both technical and financial feasibility. Support origination and development teams with PPA and GIA negotiations. Support development teams with jurisdictional needs. Coordinate engineering, estimating, and procurement requirements. Support the E&C engineering team with technical attributes to develop designs. Support the E&C cost estimating team in developing a financial model. Seek out and use market data to ensure the financial model is healthy. Present financial models to business units and manage approval through executive budget processes. Competitively source, negotiate, and implement commercial contracts for critical services such as geotechnical, survey, engineering, and EPC/PC construction services. Uphold and represent E&C’s interests on assigned projects. Participate in multiple software applications to support activities, manage critical data and deliverables, and report on key indicators. Support process improvements and efficiency programs. Provide regular presentations/briefings on progress, issues, and risk mitigation to multiple levels of management. Ensure a smooth handover to the Construction Project Manager with an inclusive and executable construction plan. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or Finance/Accounting with experience in renewable energy project engineering and construction. At least 6 years of relevant experience. Experience with electricity markets, renewables, and/or battery projects. PMP certification. Advanced Excel skills.
