Benefits Competitive salary Employee discounts Free uniforms Training & development Job Position Description Floor Care Maintenance Technician working as a team to maintain hard floor surfaces, carpet, some VCT, hand mopping, and vacuuming. Must be familiar with running a walk‑behind floor machine (Tennant) and machine maintenance. The position is Monday through Friday, 5‑9 p.m. The role does not require strip and wax. Hourly wage $17.00/hr. Other Duties Use proper PPE where required. Some hand mopping. Use of chemical safety procedures. Must be able to follow a maintenance task schedule of equipment (daily/weekly). Will provide on‑the‑job training to familiarize team members with Tennant equipment for those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, flooring company or school is a plus. The ability to work at a fast‑paced and multi‑tasked job is necessary. Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable, and on time. Has respect and understanding for co‑workers and clients. Must be able to communicate in English and/or use a translation tool. Must have own reliable transportation. Physical Demands and Qualifications Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward. Must be able to lift and/or carry 25 lbs. Ability to read instructions in English. Respect for equipment which includes daily and weekly maintenance.
