Billing Specialist

Description About the Role Join the Chem-Plate Industries team! We're looking for a sharp, on-site Billing Specialist to keep our manufacturing revenue workflow running seamlessly. You’ll manage customer invoicing, maintain billing records and documentation, research and resolve billing discrepancies, and support month-end billing as needed. About Chem-Plate: Chem-Plate is a growing metal finishing company serving customers nationwide across the automotive, construction, military, transportation, and agriculture industries. What You’ll Do Generate and process customer invoices in the ERP system on a daily basis Verify billing accuracy against orders, shipments, and pricing records Research and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner Maintain organized, up-to-date billing records and documentation Communicate with internal departments and customers regarding invoice questions Support month-end billing close processes as needed What We’re Looking For 2-5 years of experience, preferred. High school diploma required, associate’s degree preferred Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and accuracy Prior experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related accounting/administrative role preferred Familiarity with ERP systems (training provided on Chem-Plate's specific system) Strong communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working in-person, Monday through Friday in a manufacturing setting Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency What We Offer Pay: $22.00/hour to $25.00/hour Health Insurance 401(k) Paid time off Location: In-person at Chem-Plate Industries (1800 Touhy Ave, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 #J-18808-Ljbffr Chem-Plate Industries Inc
