Part-time Accounts Receivable Clerk

Responsibilities

• Data Entry: Accurate and timely data entry of all incoming customer payments, sales receipts, and invoices into accounting software (QuickBooks, Excel, SAP)

• Invoice Generation & Distribution: Create, review, and send out detailed, professional billing statements and customer invoices.

• Payment Processing: Process daily deposits, credit card payments, ACH transfers, and checks with high precision.

• Account Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of receivable ledgers to ensure every penny is accounted for.

• Collections & Relationship Management: Light, professional follow-up on outstanding balances, building positive relationships with clients to ensure smooth payment cycles.

• Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing errors, unapplied credits, or short payments with speed and clarity.

• Reporting & Insights: Generate weekly aging reports and update management on incoming cash flow and collection statuses.
