Project Manager

Pay : $35 to $36 depending on experience Responsibilities & Requirements Ensures all project information received from customers is accurately distributed to relevant internal departments and entered into appropriate management systems for review. Supports the implementation of Project Management processes and tools by contributing to procedures and providing guidance to project teams. Assists the Planning Department with developing project proposals, job estimates, and schedules. Organizes, leads, and facilitates regular cross‑functional project team meetings involving company personnel, subcontractors, customers, and U.S. Navy representatives. Develops detailed plans to monitor complex work items and project milestones. Creates task lists and work‑effort assessments, considering both short‑ and long‑term impacts. Identifies changes in project scope and ensures appropriate planning measures are taken across Planning, Estimating, Production, and Contracts departments, including coordination with customer inputs for reassessing schedules, budgets, and scope. Identifies, assesses, and analyzes risks or issues that may affect project completion, and collaborates with the team to develop mitigation strategies. Provides resolution options to the Ship Manager when schedule or production conflicts arise. Coordinates and provides instruction to assigned subcontractors and internal trade personnel under the direction of the Ship Manager. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Reports to the assigned Ship Manager or Lead Manager for the project. Maintains professional working relationships with teaming partners and subcontractors, tracking milestones and percent‑complete metrics for contracted work. Builds and maintains strong professional relationships with internal departments—including Production, Contracts, Subcontracts Management, Estimating, QA, Safety, Scheduling, and Planning—to support smooth execution of project availabilities.
