Job Overview Neiman Marcus is a leading luxury retailer that offers a curated product assortment and exceptional customer experiences across its 36 stores, digital channels, and remote services. Position Summary The Restaurant Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness, ensuring that guests receive the high level of food and beverage service expected at Neiman Marcus. Key Responsibilities Primarily focus on keeping the dish, trash, and floors areas clean and organized to the highest level of Health and Kitchen standards. Maintain the dish machine: Check for chemicals in the dish machine to ensure it is filled and ready. Understand how to use the dish machine. Report any malfunctions to the Restaurant Manager or Executive Chef. Keep chemical testers on hand. Know how to use all sanitizing materials used for cleaning. Check trash periodically and remove it if full. Organize the dish area with all solutions for pots, pans, sinks, and silver. Maintain a pace for washing all pots, pans, dishes, flatware, and glassware. Exercise caution when working with breakables (e.g., dishes and glassware). Keep floors clean from spills, grease, and general trash. Assist with preparation and additional cleaning throughout the kitchen as needed. Maintain a professional relationship with all line cooks, coworkers, chef, and front-of-the-house staff. Uphold all Health and Sanitation standards as directed by Neiman Marcus, the local Health Department, and third‑party Sanitation auditors. Qualifications & Expectations Ability to work autonomously. Motivated and results‑driven. “Win together” mentality. Physical ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift and carry up to 35 pounds. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Benefits & Compensation Salary range: $19.61 – $24.51 (may vary by market, experience, and qualifications).
